Tools
We will focus on real-life situations from your daily experiences related to alcohol addiction.
New behavior patterns
You’ll practice new behavior patterns that empower you to live a life free from addiction—a life you desire.
Maintain social connections
Unlike residential treatment programs, which can last up to three months, alcohol dependency therapy is offered on an outpatient basis. This approach allows you to maintain your social and professional connections while receiving the support you need.
Support
We’ll support you during aftercare, providing tools to help you continue on the path to lasting sobriety. If you feel the need for ongoing support after completing the main phase of treatment, we offer follow-up therapy sessions every 2 to 3 months. These regular visits will help you maintain abstinence and effectively manage the long-term challenges of alcohol dependency.
How do the 6 therapy sessions work
1.
In the first session, we’ll focus on identifying cravings for alcohol. You’ll learn to pinpoint the moments when cravings occur and acquire practical techniques to confront and manage them effectively.
2.
The second session will focus on uncovering the personal triggers that lead you to alcohol. Together, we’ll identify these triggers and develop strategies to avoid or effectively manage them.
3.
During the third session, we’ll explore how to better understand and manage your emotions without turning to alcohol. You’ll gain tools to navigate emotional challenges in healthier ways.
4.
The fourth session will address your relationships and delve into the deeper causes of your addiction. You’ll learn to communicate more effectively with loved ones, strengthen your inner resolve, and build confidence in managing your dependency.
5.
In the fifth session, you’ll practice assertive techniques to help you refuse alcohol in challenging situations. You’ll gain the confidence to say “no” to alcohol, whether at social events or in everyday life.
6.
In the final session, we’ll collaboratively develop a crisis plan for moments when you feel your sobriety is at risk. This plan will provide specific steps to navigate critical situations and minimize the risk of relapse.
